Double spacing when quoting someone

Ok, so when you quote someone, most people don't evenly space it, even though in the preview box they put a space beforehand. Here is an example:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

User 1 says: Hello!

I quote him/her on it, but include text before hand:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

My name is Alexthementalone

Hello!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You see, that is not spaced which can get annoying, even though in the preview box it looks like this:

My name is Alexthementalone   [quote=User1]Hello![/quote]

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

^ Above I have spaced the BBCode but since I am quoting someone that requires an extra line in the vertical direction. So, if I was to double space, it looks much better:

My name is Alexthementalone

Hello!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So, the BBCode looks like this:

My name is Alexthementalone   [quote=User1]Hello![/quote]

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You see, I have double spaced. This looks better.

This isn't a forum bug nor is it anything that is important, it's just when people quote other people they intend for it to be evenly placed, even though it isn't.

I find the newer one looks worse.
And cant you just make it yourself

But the BBCode isn't shown in the post obviously, so that does not obscure the look of the post.

The quote adds a line in the vertical direction, so the message does not look double spaced.

We are aware of this bug.

For now, just put two newlines before a quote if it bothers you.
