New theme/logo

So guys, expect a quite literally new forum* on the weekend, I wanted the communities thoughts on the current logo/theme, I.E good points bad points and any logos if you wanted to make some.

*New forum = exact replica of this forum without bugs via fresh install.

The currently logo i liked, but theme seems bad. Also, im good at making forum structure(Forums and categorys).

The banner at the top could use an update, but I don't want to throw away RPG's lovely sphere.
The background is fine imo.   I'll work on a different banner, though.

I definitely would like a fancy new theme. The banner at the top could be changed too, but it grew on me over the years..

I like the sphere, and I do kind of like the maps in the banner.   Maybe make it so when you refresh, the images of maps in the banner change, randomly?   Maybe the smileys surrounding could be updated or change randomly too?

Um guys, the world and the banner with the map has always been there. Am I going crazy? It looks exactly the same for me.

As long as you can revert to the current theme, then i'm perfectly okay with a theme change. A new look would be great, and I would probably use it. However, some forums hold too much nostalgia for me, and I wouldn't want it to be tainted by a different theme.

Please don't change the banner. The picture of MG Crew galaxy just barely shows the eye ball planet, an old art that I made and am proud to have at the top of the forums. If you remove the banner you remove what little legacy I've ever had on EE :c

^ Which is why I suggest keeping it, but making the maps/smileys randomly change when you refresh, it would keep the old pictures of the same maps, but there would be a bunch of others it would switch between

For those who want a new banner: I'm taking suggestions.   I found a font that is very close to the current one (the Y looks a little strange but you'll live - it's called "Pro Lamina").

I like the current theme.
If you change it:
-Maybe a new banner? I always thought it was a little off...
-Nothing with a bright main color (white or yellow)

That's a good idea, but it's doubtful that RPGMaster2000 still has the transparent globe thing.   It's doubtful that he would even respond to his old email.
That being said, it's all or nothing regarding the background and banner.   That is, unless someone would like to take the time to erase the background on the globe so we may reuse it.

I couldn't find a large image of it, but it should work. Maybe.
Also a transperent copy of the current logo, if that helps.

Not very important but the low quality in the logo bugs me, so I tried to make a quick larger and hopefully higher res version.

And I tried to make only the planet visible, but it failed horribly. I could try using the other image later.

Hope I haven't made a mistake

The shadow around the globe fades out too much, and the shadow around the cursor doesn't fade out enough. Also the bottom smiley's shadow is cut-off.

Nice edit right there Tachyonic, would be perfect if you blurred the bottom shadow in the first picture.
