Once every four or six months should deter too many requests and potential confusion.

Well, when cyclone finishes reviving the old forums, everything here will bevforgotten, all threads and posts we made, usernames, e.t.c, so im feeling its a bit pointless....

Yeah it would've. If you could've found an active admin who was watching the topic, taking off the numbers isn't big enough to disallow it, I think. i am the one and only got his name changed to IATOAO, after all, and that's a pretty big change. But it wasn't a complete name change, it was basically the same thing.

by now most of the people in coldstorm know this but i dont go by brawler anymore. change it to RhazhBash.

Fair enough. If it becomes a burden then I wouldn't expect it to linger, though I won't be dealing with it myself.
