Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

iYam's Bricks Samples

Hello!
Welcome to my Bricks Samples Topic!
In this topic I will publish some of my Brick ideas, as my own.
They will provided as designs, so you will can feel them.

I will show them in packages.
So here is my very first package as Bricks Sampler:
sbrickssamples.jpg
The description is already built-in the design, so I have nothing to say about the bricks, except that the "?" ones are animated sprites, so if Chris will decide to add them they will be animated as well as the coins, and the Dragged-Stone-Brick, is only seeing for you, just like the coins (You can't see if others took it or not).

In the future I'll add some more packages.
Feel free to comment your own suggestions and I'll probably design the good ideas!
Enjoy this topic //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/wink

I don't know how the bump brick would work. But the others are pretty cool.

Aren't at least three of them ripped straight out of the Mario games? //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

Well OK, I'll describe that:
You jump on it, or touch it, and then it bumps you out like 1 block away, opposite the way you jump it.
Now it's clear? //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue
Don't afraid of changes, like that the game will not be improved //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/wink

I liked all, except the stone.

Nicely done iYam! Although in my personal opinion the stone should be a bit darker and maybe not have that "beveled" look.

Thank you!
I think, in all of this first package, that the Ice Brick and the Coin Bricks is the most impotent thing 'till now.

They are all cool, especially the ice brick. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile
I just don't know what will happen to the stone if it keeps on being dragged :/

Yeah, people can use all bricks in trolling way. So the solution is:
Only you can see what you just dragged, like the coins.
But otherwise it just a cool brick that I hope will be in the game. It would help to create some challenged maps.

Hopefully, the tech that you suggested will eventually make its way into the actual game. That would be epic.

I don't really see the point in blue coin blocks. The rest are quite nice, but the stone may be problematic if not thought about carefully.

from my understanding i think the bump brick works   as when you touch it you will be pushesd in the direction you went at it X number of spaces

New Super Mario Bros. Most blocks of EE are from this game.

I changed my idea, stone blocks can be good, but not for locked rooms.

The stone bricks can be used for opening a sort of rolercoaster to the next level... Or something like that.

And the bump brick, If you jump on top of it, do you jump higher than usual?

Yeah, it will be used to train you, and to make you jump higher, to block you (if you make a row) and more... I think it's very useful. Chris you should think about adding my package ^_^

Re: iYam's Bricks Samples

That bump block would be used to make the most annoying challenges possible, i vote no on that lol.
But the ice brick looks sweet i vote yes for that one.

Re: iYam's Bricks Samples

Really good looking, but the coin block is way too hard to hit, because you have too stand exactly under it //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile
