Change the opening screen

Snow in May?

I know people live around the world, but I think it's time to change the opening screen.

What do you think? Please post any screenshots of what you think the screen should look like.

The width is 40 and the height is 30. It must contain "Everybody Edits" to qualify.

Ah, yes. I've been meaning to change it for a while.

I'll talk to Chris to see if he can let me organize a mini-contest where the user can design the next screen. Hopefully, he'll like the idea.

Just a suggestion for the possible contest: criteria. Instead of just saying "go make an opening screen" say "make an opening screen, and make sure it includes this, this, and this"

Well, of course! If there's anything the contest showed me, it's the importance of proper criterias.

How about the winner gets to have a smiley of their choice with his or her username in the title screen? Kind of like in Tako's screenshot. Perhaps alongside Benjaminsen.

If this were to be the new title screen, it would be much better picture quality. Also, the smileys wouldn't have "SUPADORF24" under them, obviously.

They've all had the exact same font and color, I doubt they would change that.

Hmm. Interesting idea for a contest, just don't give rewards. If you do give rewards, don't give exclusive rewards. We all know what kind of crap you got for that one...

You know what really should be changed? The website background. It only has the first 6 smilies and the first 8 blocks. It was never changed... I hope it will be changed soon because I'm getting bored of it.
