Add more shadow to it. Light and dark. For the smileys you basically use one color. If you zoom in on EE at a smiley, there are at least 5 colors yellow. Try to do that.

I DO do that. That's how I get a bit of gradient shading on my smileys, as you can see how I did on my "Smitty's Guide to EE Smileys" on the 2nd page.

New sleepy and swat team smiley.

Tell me if the swat smiley needs a helmet or not. I didn't put it on because I think it looks better that way.
