The premise of my suggestion is pretty simple: if you have any worlds you no longer want/need, you can "sell" them to the energy shop to remove them and gain your energy back. To prevent abuse (in the form of building up huge energy stores), instead of restoring the full amount of energy the world is worth, it could be sold back at a loss, perhaps 50%-75% of the original energy cost of the world.
A 75% loss of of 4000 (massive world) is still 1000. You can only have 200 energy at a time. Is problem!
