Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I don't know if this has been suggested before anywhere, but I searched and couldn't find it, so here it is:
Currently, secret blocks are either invisible that you can stand on, or black that you go through. Well in most levels, you don't have random black blocks sitting around, so those are basically destroying the point of a "secret" block.
My suggestion is instead of placing secret blocks everywhere, you just apply the secret block to currently existing blocks.
ex: You have a mountain level, with loads of brown and red and green etc. You want to make a secret cave somewhere, so you make a brown hill, and then select what is currently a black block you can move through, and apply that to those brown blocks. Now you can move through those, and they are still brown. Once you move through them the same thing happens that happens now when you move through a secret block. It shows the path you recently took.
Suggested by Supadorf24 + JakebotThose blocks^ will have 2 versions; one version is completely undetectable, but there is a limited amount you can place. There is another type that is slightly detectable, and you can place as many as you want.
Those invisible blocks can basically stay the same, because you are just putting them in place of nothing. But I also wanted to add something more to them. You can place them on arrow blocks, and basically it is fake arrows that you can stand on. Also I want to suggest fake arrows altogether, so that they act as if there is nothing there.
EDIT 1: also, invisible arrows.
My other suggestion was invisible coins. Having a coin at the end of a secret passage would also ruin the point of "secret passage". Because you would see the coin sitting there, and see no way to get there and think, " oh there's a coin there, there must be a secret passage around here somewhere." Just like those blocks you apply to normal blocks, you can apply an invisible coin to a block, so when you hit the block, you go through it and collect a coin.
Lastly, I would like to suggest fake coins. Pretty straightforward.
EDIT 1: I have realized that my ideas regarding arrows could most likely be abused, but I have not thought of a way around that yet..
That is all, I think. Tell me what you guys think!

Its, funny actually, I normally don't have suggestions for games I play, but today and yesterday ideas have just kept coming to my mind. I haven't made topics for most of them though, because seeing like 4 topics all first by me would be weird.
I'll make a topic with all my ideas in it once I get them all explained to myself lol.
Thats a great idea
Those are really awesome ideas! Onlyproblem is, There could be some brutal level designs.
Maybe it could be a coin door-type thing, where you pay 1000 energy to get 10 of each or something.

This would be kind of annoying. Maybe change the secret-normal bricks to be a tiny bit different, so people who aren't really paying attention won't notice it. Cause otherwise, there will be a lot of "Yay I finally made it. Woops I fell. "

How do you do rainbow text?
Just write them down so you down forget them and obey the cat.

I don't quite understand what your talking about. Do you mean the invisible bricks or the normal bricks that you can pass through?

Make the normal bricks that you can pass through a little different, so people need to focus if they want to see them. Maybe a little darker. People who have just finished a somewhat hard minigame might ragequit when they suddenly fall through a random block that looked normal.

True, I guess you're right. The blocks you pass through should still be applied to blocks, but when you apply it, that block becomes slighty darker, so that if you pay attention you will notice it.
But I still think that destroys the purpose of the block. The problem is that people just like to abuse these blocks in ways they were not intended.
Then make them limited, as Supadorf said.

Maybe if you make "true" invisible blocks undetectable, but they are limited, and detectable blocks unlimited?
Jakebot thats a good idea
I love those ideas, +1 rep for you my friend
If they are going to be limited, I think they should be sold the same way Coin Doors are.
