Hey guys I saw in an earlier post by mrvalley (credits to him) about a prestige/level system so I decided to polish the idea up a little and presnt it as a suggestion
Basically it is a kind of in-game ranking system where you can get rewards
So there should be a number of levels similar to forum ranking
ex:
- Beginner
- Player
- Creator
- Dedicatated Player
- Pro
This is an example of course we need more original names but just idea
To obtain these levels I think the player should do numerous things:
- Invest some energy
- move around an X number of pixels without gravity
- maybe collect a number of coins in anything that is not a coin farm or regen
Then when the player increases level/prestige they get a reward. These are some Ideas I had for the rewards:
- different colored names
- new glows
- the character can even glow normally a little
- little emblems next to names
- new smileys
- A shiny trail behind the smiley (not on minimap just ingame but it shouldn't be too flagrant as it should not perturb gameplay)

well its an idea nothing more
im like this idea but it need only be able in staff rooms because you can cheat in your friends rooms with this.
No because then people would complain that EE is ripping off Call of Duty just like when people found out Halo Reach had armor abilities.
Ehm the idea of levels is used in alot of games so if the only thing wrong is the name you can call it levels. And the levels have names I just call it prestige so people can get an idea of how it would look.
Or maybe just make it titles, like that game, um, oh yeah, Transformice. Do a certain amount of things and get a title. Titles might give you extra energy, faster energy regeneration, shinier name, that kind of stuff. But you can only have 1 title active at a time.

I don't think this would be a good idea. It would add a path to the game, and this is a pathless (a.k.a. nonlinear) game. This doesn't need to be linear, that's the antithesis of a sandbox.

- maybe collect a number of coins in anything that is not a coin farm or regen fill your world with coins and just go collect them
all of these can be exploited, see bold text
Maybe coins shouldn't work like that if you're a god in the level.
Lol I think this is a great idea
i think that prestige should be something for players who have everything in the shop and have extra energy. you just put some energy into it when there's no new smileys or bricks out.
its a good idea but not anything worth getting carried away over. If that got too in depth, then it would ruin whats special about this game....the fact that its an openly creative game where you start with a clean slate every place you visit
