Boy Or Girl?

I find it very frustrating when they say he instead of she, so I thought of this idea:
(BTW I cant get any pics cuz im not good with stuff like that)
So, here goes:
When you chat, how about you have the gender boy/girl on the left hand side of the speech?
To start, when you log in, just like what happened with the usernames, it could say: "are you a boy or a girl?" then you just kinda say an then it has the boy/girl symbol next to ur speech! (this wont be able for non chatters but then its just a better reason to get chat!)

Er... tell me if u like the idea, if u got a better way (and a better way of saying it than mine wud be helpful) and... yea. So dunt be mean cuz its the first topic thing ive dun.
