Coin Idea

Ok so far:

Yellow coins are use for coin doors.

Blue coins have no use.

I don't think Chris is making a blue coin door because then we can't use the blue coin for anything new. So what if we added some more coins (like a green one) and when ideas come in we can use up coins on new things. Like:

Yellow - doors

Blue - gates (I wont draw the gates because its like the activated door w/ a #)

Green - x amount turns on green dot/arrows.

Purple - x amount turns off purple dot/arrows.

Red - crown that you can't get until you have x amount

Gray - nothing, just a counter until someone (like me) has an idea for it.

Light blue - teleports you to the brick with the same amount of coins set to it (if more than one have x coins assigned to it, teleport to a random one other than the one you just entered.)

Coins done, working on the blocks associated with them.

I like your ideas. These would be fun for new levels designs.

Also, here are the sprite sheets for the coins.
Though Chris isn't likely to use anything from the forum, he's more likely to if he doesn't have to do any work.

Normally, I'm not nice with new coins, but those are awesome !

Hope some of them (if not all of them) gets in the game

Ok, while I was staging the scene for all the coins and blocks I renamed my world to Dont come in. Someone came in with chat and this is what happened:

I was thinking about that, having multicolored coins since I'm running out of single colors. I'll work on it.

I am putting a pause on the mock-up until I get darkday's Rpg's Glass Pack ripped apart. I'm almost done and that will make mock-ups a LOT easier. Don't ask how. I won't tell. Until then I'm working on the sprite sheets and the animation which will be done shortly.

I finished the mock-up with the red, light blue, and purple coins. In this level you don't want the purple coins or you can't get the crown.

I have an idea, like when a purple arrow isn't active it should be dimmed or semi-transparent, however when it is activated it should be in full colour.
