new type of respawn point

how bout they make a players respawn point cuz do u hate it when u have 2 leave a lvl then 2 get to that point again u have 2 play it so if there was a new respawn point where u camplace a respawn point so when u come bak on you can go to a certain place.

You should only be able to have 1 total in all saved worlds.

That would take up a ton of memory that we don't have the space for.

For those who can't read what hes saying, hes saying have players be able to have a "save" point in each level they play so when they are kicked or have to leave, then can come back to where they left off.

sounds simple, but to code it is difficult.

As helpful as a checkpoint is, the amount of bandwidth that would take up saving every player's level progress seems like a lot. Or maybe not. I don't know enough about internet stuff to say. Chris is already paying for the bandwidth to save Saved Worlds.

well all of u sayin about it would make the code to wierd and the game 2 slow and stuff and i may have websites but i dont have any games so i dont no much bout codes.

pointless!
instead have "checkpoint" blocks, when touched you will always return to that point when you leave and come back (not affected by the /reset or /loadlevel chat commands)
and with it is a "finish" block, which resets all checkpoints you've touched.
with that type of block people would be very pleased, but the server space it will use...
