Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Level Division Idea

Ohey, I didn't see you there. I'm a recruit, but that doesn't mean I can't have any good ideas.

As we are all mostly familiar with, levels tend to stick to one theme (i.e. boss, minigames, minigames and art, boss, art, race, stairs, gate race, etc.). Some people despise levels that look like grid paper, while others love them. Some people love bosses, while others think it's pointless. You understand my point. Everyone is different.

So, the problem is level names can be misleading. Like this level I played recently. The title was "Tour of Italy" (I think that's a dish at olive garden, it had the work Italy in it) or something. It had NOTHING to do with Italy AT ALL. So, my solution to said problem is to put a label underneath the title saying what type of level it is

Before you start saying this a bad idea: understand a few things:
- It won't be white, it'll be gray.
- It's extremely helpful for people who are looking for a specific type of level.
- A moderator can change it if it isn't right.
- The labels could be:

Boss - Live editing challenge

Minigames - JUST minigames.

Minigames+Art - Art with minigames/minigames with art.

Race - Mostly gravity, race to the finish line.

Gate Race - The level tends to be entirely gates. People start at the beginning, and try to get to the finish line by completing minigames along the way.

Stairs - Gates that form stair-like patterns.

Other - Anything else

Unfinished - Levels that are still under construction

Please comment your thoughts and opinions!

Re: Level Division Idea

Good idea, but the moderator of the level should be able to change it. There can be a Not Done tag.

I will add an "Other" and "Unfinished" to the list.

Re: Level Division Idea

There will always be people who will change the tag to something completely un-related to the actual level. I don't think anyone will take a lot of time to go change the tag of some 200 levels a day.

OH! OH! How about this:
Pepole can "vote" on what kind of world it is in the toolbar. Then the tag will be more accurate.

Re: Level Division Idea

Hmmmm, even more inaccurate.
*Level is minigames*
*200 people tab it as art*
Problem?
