coordinate positions for the player
There should be a marker for your coordinate position down next to the mini map in the form of ( x, y) to show players their current position in the world. This would make it easier to find yourself in the mini-map instead of searching for your green dot. You could also request assistance at a specific location - ( 159, 34) or something like that.

Not a bad idea at all, but would probably be hard to implement.
