Left/Right Arrows

I think there should be L/R arrows. Not random direction arrows(yes, I read the list of suggestions) but somthing like this:
When a smiley falls onto it it will either do this:
    
     >
or this:
    
     <
The block is just one block,which is where the arrows are above. So when the smiley falls into the block, it will act like a left or right arrow depending on a random number. Each player can go in any direction, even if they are in the same place! If you want to stop the smiley, put a block after the L/R block like you do in a rollercoaster.
Please comment on my suggestion or tell me if it has been suggested before.

I'd definitely love this block. It would be great for random machines, teams, anything.

Sounded pretty odd at first, but the illustrations make it look like something worth taking a look at. Nice suggestion.

The reason I want the L/R block to stop the player is if there are players coming from top and bottom so they don't fly past it.

If you don't want them to go past then put a block the prevents it. I think it should be passable.

Seriously dude, 2 days isn't against the rules. 3 Weeks is if the posrt is completely useless.

i like this idea, but maybe it should be alternating. so one left one right one left one right.....etc. that could split players into teams and such. if it were random, it would be... crazy and uncontrollable.

I agree with this, I once tried making a Plinko level, it failed. This would make it actually random.

Maybe there should be two blocks, the random block(new name for it from now on), and the splitter(?) block, splits streams of smileys.
EDIT: @Krazyman50 You could make plinko with a bot that changes the gravity really fast
