Newsletter
The last time I got an email for news and/or offer for Everybody Edits was a month ago and that was the postman smiley. Maybe you should take some smileys in the graphic suggestions and let it be a special offer in the newsletter.
The news part would give to us whats coming next so we'll save energy to buy them. Part of the news could be to pre-buy/order the smiley, block, or world before it comes out so we'll already have it when the hour it comes out. If they did this with portals the time portals came out the game list will be full of portal levels.

I really like that pre-order idea, but it would just be abused. Like with the 
, most people didn't get the newsletter, they copied the link from someone who did. By the time it comes out, everyone semi-smart will already have it.
