How about we make a bad looking guest smiley. It will make the guest want to make an account even more. But i'm still thinking what it should look like. Maybe a smiley with a hat on that says guest.

or we can forget this idea because the point of being a guest is to test out the few features they have to see if they want an account. giving them 1 smiley isnt much to test EE out with.

Like aefrogdog said, guests have six smileys. That's enough.
Having only six smileys to choose from would probably work better instead of just having a single smiley to wear. Besides, they already have a little feature to show that they're guests: the temporary usernames.

I would say yes to this idea. Register and you get 6 FREE SMILEYS. (registered people have to buy the "oh" smiley)
Maybe the guest smiley should just be a blank smiley

Actually, I'm pretty sure I heard that guests being able to have the :o smiley is a bug.
I'm surprised it hasn't been fixed yet actually.

Better idea: leave guests with those 6 smilies, but once you sign up, you get a anthoer smilie, for just creating an account, of course, everyone with an account would automatically get it.
