Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

My idea is simple: Whenever there is an update, level designers of saved worlds can revert back to a version of ee for their world. Maybe you liked "Physics 3.0" before the tweaks. Maybe you want to have that glitch where you can stick to ceilings. Who knows? Just an idea.
Sorry, but no.
sorry my friend, I do not think that this is a good idea...
Why not... ? Can I please get some more feedback?
Because people would randomly change levels, making it inconsistent and annoying for the players.

Imagine what would happen if every level had different physics. You'd have to re learn how to play ee every time you joined a new level.
Maybe it would show the version and a link to a popup for instructions
Well, the instructions would be the same. But it could change just physics like greenzoid2 said. Like moving a bit more smooth/jumping a tiny bit farther etc, etc.
Why on earth would Chris have a copy of EE: version 0.1+? Pack-rat?
If he does, it sounds like plain paranoia.
Perhaps... backups just in case he might have to rollback? He probably does have the older versions, I mean. So he could take a look back at the past.
Anyways, replying to OP's post: This idea isn't the best because the of the players having to relearn physics and stuff. Basically what one of the people here said.
It would be nice to have some decency in the updates, though. XD
