Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Anti-troll (too many gods example)

If on your world you have some 4/6 gods and you're bossing.
Someone starts to troll, and the owner kicks all the gods, and he dont know who troll
Here is a tool that will help:
When u put your mouse at a block you see who last edit it.

Simple and easy.

Re: Anti-troll (too many gods example)

Not simple and not easy to code. The server would have to remember who made each and every block. And what if people are erasing blocks? What if you're trying to find the source of a BG block? What if you're trying to find the source of an erased block with a BG block behind it?

It dont recognizes "erased blocks". This is only for block-troll. And the problem of server remember each and everyblock i think isnt a problem because server need to remember all bricks of a world and why can't him add a integer(ID of player) for everybrick?

I don't think it's this easy.

Re: Anti-troll (too many gods example)

It may not be easy but it would be quiet useful, other than how hard it is to put this in the game it would be awesome. Unless it adds a lot of lag and FPS problems then don't put it in or have a toggle for it.

Or you can just pay attention and give code only to trusted people.
Simpler than that, you can simply put a counter near ppl's names showing how many bllocks/bg they have added in the lats 30secs/last minute(something like 200+ means trolling, unless he's filling an area with something)

It would be too chaotic.

Re: Anti-troll (too many gods example)

I give the code to anyone who comes to my level anyways...this would be useful because some of those peoples are trolls.
Though I save every 2 min. so I don't care, the counter might be better though.

I love the idea, if it's not hard for code - Chris - go for it!
But maybe trolls can be as guests and then it's not so useful.

Other than that - I support Jonathan1003's idea = Counters next to players.
Maybe if the counter passes 20 blocks per 2 seconds or something, it will give you a message with an option to kick, or decline. Just an idea, and I'm aware of it's cons (like if he just trolls block after block). Maybe something similar will be great!

I kind of think this is pointless. What if you and a trusted friend are the only ones making a level? You should never give out the code to untrusted people anyway. And also, this would mean every single brick in the world would have a name on it, messing up your thinking and the gameplay.

I would support it, too, if it wouldn't slow down the game and the servers... VNrAE.png
