Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Here's an excellent palette made by JaWapa:

I believe it has all blocks.

Actually it doesn't have all the blocks, yet. Jawapa tells me he's working on a larger version though. So hopefully in the near future...

just use bee's ones for now, i guess.

Bee's color palette is off on several colors...
I'd be surprised if you could find a complete color palette with the Builders Club doors and diamond blocks.
Yeah since a lot of blocks are nearly the same color. I think all the christmas blocks are. There really isn't a need to use every single block.

I am working on another color palette... but I've been busy with web-designing and summer stuff. I hope to eventually get it done :/

the world, you silly scrub
the world, you silly scrub
I was talking about the world ... on the mini-map there are several colors that don't blend right...
And now I am a scrub? I would really like to know what gave you this impression.

scrub is an ambiguous term
Well, I think JaWapa's is better, but here is mine:

I can update it if you'd like. I made it by finding its location on the shaded color wheel (with a photo editor tool) and then classifying them by value.
A problem I've been having is deciding saturation. Some blocks have very low saturation (glass) and some have very high saturation (mineral), and they don't belong on the same graph. Colors have three properties, and therefore can only be represented by a 3-dimensional graph.
Since that is impossible, the best palette would have to be several different graphs which eliminate one of the three variables. The most realistic variable to eliminate would be hue. You would have to create a graph for each hue (like this) and scale based on saturation and value.
tl;dr both JaWapa's and my graph have fundamental flaws (aside from being incomplete)
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

@Takoman thats why I don't have a lot of blocks in mine. I think the biggest problem I had was getting the darker shades right. I have a few spots where the blocks are way off but I don't have anything to fix it :/
EDIT: Also I like yours. The only thing I think is off is the purple... purple is a hard color to blend on here :/

That graph would be the best but would probably be very difficult in EE, because we don't have every colour so you might end up with loads of different graphs but with not many colours in each one.

Dang, this is way more complicated than previously thought

if it's such a smallscale thing like that, just play with colors and see what looks right.
Easy things shouldn't be hard.
Well, this is interesting. I used a third party application to draw a map of hues and lightness and this is what I got:
http://everybodyedits.com/games/PWoUFJEHfBa0I
LOTS of yellows and blues, not so much for pink.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

I set his world as visible. Anyway, it's neat and I've done the same in the past.

Um, I could have told you that it was mostly blue and yellow... You can clearly see it without doing anything to the picture...

Sheesh people love one-upping me in this topic.

For us, yes, it's obvious, because we made a palette, but most haven't considered the frequency of colors in EE blocks and ergo wouldn't have known.

I'd like a full color pallet with ee2 blocks... Now THAT would be cool.

Well I mess with colors all day (I'm a webdesigner), so I can see colors fairly easy
