Every so often, I see this thread resurface to the top of the suggestion forum.   This makes me wonder.... WHY ISN'T THIS IN THE GAME YET?!?!?   It's the most original idea I've seen in these forums, and more original than anything in the game at this current moment, so why isn't it?   Is their any hope for this ending up in the game ever?

IDK about others but I liked the first TV design more that 2 others...
BTW If you want to make sure someone is somewhere, you can do it in EE now: key in somewhere   + 2nd (open) door in monitoring area (but thats not the same, I know)

If owners hide their codes (if there is a code) with secret blocks, there would be no problem. at least if it's just the view moving and not seeing what the other sees. So if that person touches those secret blocks, the person who's playing can see trough them, but the one who is watching the tv, still can't see them (except if he touched them himself already). And when recording for tutorials, you see what owner saw.

hint to owners when this is in the game: be careful with what you do when recording.

Btw: i read all posts of this topic, such a good idea.

EDIT: I want this in the game as soon as possible!!!

The television Idea would be awesome for people who like to make houses. It A great Idea for worlds that have motels you have to have A television.

Wow, this is my first post because I just registered!

1: Handheld Camera: How about a "Handheld Camera" that if you pick it up (with Q), you will be shown on TVs that use the Targeted ID to it? The Handheld Camera should be gray (If normal cameras are visible, than they would be blue)

2: Blue TV: How about a "Blue TV" that picks a random player to show, than 10 seconds later, it picks somebody else to show?

3: Certain TV Blocks: How about a block that looks like a normal red/blue/green, but with a crossed circle   (Example:http://www.clker.com/clipart-2649.html) and invisible on certain TVs, and when you make a TV, you can choose which (or if you can see all of them/not) Certain colored V Blocks that can be shown?

4: Red TV: How about it where red TVs are the TVs that show the person who made the level?

5: Green TV: How about a green TV that does the same as a blue TV, but only with people with code. Good for spectating in bosses.

6: Purple TV: How about Yellow TVs that you can switch through channels? Channel numbers are same as Camera IDs and there is a list of channels and there would be a list of channels, it shows the channel number and shrunk version of the TV what it would be showing on the camera.

Tell me which ones you like, or dislike!
Can other smileys see the camera?
Can you place cameras on other blocks? You should be able to. (Not Handheld Cameras, thought)
Be sure to make examples of these if you're bored again!
How did you make those videos?
It should be the Q button to watch the TV.
PS: What happens if you watch a golden TV and nobody has a crown?

i make a tv with animation by using myself,portals and items,but it takes alot of space,with this though,i could also do it in a "studio" a long way away,for the record i could make a "movie" without having to repeatadly do it over!

Bump. I didn't want this go to the topic graveyard.
So...I think you should be able to record on the camera then put it on a TV. You may "loop" it or put it on "live" which is what's going on at the camera right now.
