Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Yes, we DEFINATELY need an anti coin block. X number of coins makes it solid.

Absolutely. I want to build a bridge that will only materialize after a certain number of coins are picked up.
there could be a key activated ramp for levels such as stair levels
Ok, so at work today I got an idea for what I think would be an excellent brick that would alleviate a lot of key spamming/key placement problems in levels. The proximity key/door/gate. It could work in one of two ways. Either hitting the key would activate all proximity blocks in a given area (within a 5 blocks radius; within a 10 blocks radius, whatever the setting would be) or the key could be set with a value the way coin doors are set and then it would set off X number of key bricks simultaneously, starting with the closest one and radiating outward till the number is reached or all bricks in the level are set off, whichever happens first. The first option would probably be a lot easier to code, but the second one would have more flexibility. Either one would be an excellent addition though.
^see my wiring post.
That's a pretty cool idea too. Laying wires could be problematic considering the one block per square limit, but other than that it's real neat.
And a teleport brick?
One that will sent you to another world.
You click on it and you insert the level URL. (the builder only)

no, the wires would only be seen by those with the code. you click on a key, then a door, and thats it. it draws an invisible line between the two to show they are connected.

You don't even necessarily need visible wires. Just assign numbers to the keys and doors, like how we assign numbers to the coin blocks.
Key(s) 1 opens Door(s) 1, Keys(2) opens Doors(2), etc.
I don't know if this has been said before... but there should be a block that when you place it over another block/gravity marker that's already there, it becomes invisible.
Of course, it would have to be quite expensive and should come in packets of... say 10.:/
There should be a door that opens if you touch a certain number of bricks.
I want sign blocks.
Properties:
Pass through-able
Appearence:
Looks like a sheet of paper.
Has a letter on it.
Buying cost:
We'd have to pay 500 energy and it would be chatters-only. NOT beta only. Tough beta COULD have the option to choose different fonts.
It would be infinite.

I'm pretty sure this idea isn't taken, but what about...
Switch Gravity Key
If the key is touched, then all gravities will be switched (Up changes to down, left changes to right, right changes to left, etc.)
You might be saying, what about down? Would every space be switched?
Well, maybe there can be a down gravity, same as just normal gravity, excepts moves faster, and would work with the Gravity Key
This might not be an actual block, but maybe it can work

Na, it should be that the gravity key would just switch gravity that you want it to switch. To choose what key affects which gravity by invisible numbers that only the builder can see. Also there can be a separate section for it, once you click it in the menu, (just like the coin door) the property thing will pop up and ask you to assign what number it it is and asks you to choose the cycle it changes through by dragging the gravity to the slots. each time the key is hit, it switches to the next slot in its cycle. If it is at the end, it goes back the beginning slot once the key is hit (pretty common sense ).
P.S. sorry this post is so long. I hope Chris puts some of the stuff in. :):|:(:D:o;):/:P:lol::mad::rolleyes::cool:

I made a basic idea of what it would look like:
It's bad quality because I zoomed in and out, distorting it.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

I'm thinking Chris doesn't want this game to be like any other, no bubbly no sticky, I'm thinking hes limiting the knds of blocks there can be.
Revolution, your signature is going to give me nightmares.
I don't think Chris will get around to combining animation and blocks for a while.
Unless this really big update IS animation and blocks.

I had an idea of a User GUI in the energy compartment thing.
As in User made blocks. Like make your own blocks with options like (slip:true slant:true passthrough:true etc.)
And you can set the energy to get it. (min = 500 energy) (max = 8000 energy) and another block... a gem block... Where if a person bought the GEM BLOCK (costs 10 gems) to share with the public (careless spending guy to give others gems). ONLY REGISTERED USERS CAN GRAB THESE SUPER MAGICAL GEMS!
^no to all of that except for the block that you can only get with gems, but even that we already have (beta blocks).

there should be a no jump block
Teleporting blocks might be a problem... Really small rooms with teleport block mazes... :/
I want a smily block. A block with a smily on, and when you touch it, it will change your smily into the smily on the block. Only if you have it that is. Elseway, it do nothing.
It could be used to see if a mod has entered the game without holding shift
PERFECT IDEA!!
a cannon block.
when you jump on it,it sends you launching 10 squares up. :D:D:D:D:D;););););):cool::cool::cool::):):):)
