Mini Tutorials!

Hello, forums!

Post all your tutorials that are short, sweet, and to the point; too small to make a topic about.

Examples:
?How to make your own smiley (on the forums)
?How to fly.
?Different art techniques.
?How to increase your chances or getting a magic coin.

TakoMan02's theories on how to increase chances of getting a magic coin:

? Move around a lot. (NOT magic farms)
? Don't join levels with "magic," "coin," or "farm" in the title.
? Don't join levels with more then 999 coins.
? Don't join levels where you need to collect coins very quickly.

JadElClemmens art technique:

? Sometimes, to reach a desired shading effect in large landscape devices, you should lightly 'troll' the desired area with bricks that show up a bit brighter or darker on the minimap, depending on the effect you want to achieve.
Example

EEGuy's Uses for Coindoors

1- Obviously, the thing they're made for, open a specific area when player has X amount of coins.

2- Logical challenges

3- Use coins as enemies

KRZAYMAN50's "How to Fly"

1. Go on block
2. Place block on self
3. Place dot on self
4. Hold space
5. Delete everything starting with dot

Zoey's guide to not being an idiot:

Put spaces after all punctuation, including commas.
Learn your homophones and homonyms and everything.
Don't say something utterly stupid.
Use spell check.
Use proper grammar.
Common Sense.
No overly large signatures.
No rainbow text or otherwise overly colorful text.

Sometimes, to reach a desired shading effect in large landscape devices, you should lightly 'troll' the desired area with bricks that show up a bit brighter or darker on the minimap, depending on the effect you want to achieve.

I'm doing that on the MX Easter map. It works better with that type of shading if you have a really laggy computer.

On topic: I believe those last 3 'theories' about magic were disproved a while ago.

Not really a tutorial, just wanted to post something.

What to do with coin doors

1- Obviously, the thing they're made for, open a specific area when player has X amount of coins.

No need to explain.

2- Logical challenges

Catch coins in the right order to get the crown. Like the image above, but its not the best example.

3- Use coins as enemies

Make a level out of coin doors with the amount of coins to open as the desired amount of lives, and then put coins in place of enemies.

I'll (maybe) post more as I can think of them.

Lol that's why I said it. It's quick and simple.

EDIT: Those are my theories, not facts. They INCREASE your chances. If you join a level with "Magic" "coin" or "farm" in it you might still get a magic coin, but it's not likely in my opinion since I've NEVER seen magic in these levels.
