Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Until we get an CLEAR answer.
It's against the rules because it's annoying. A one-sided conversation.

That's not one sided.
It's someone talking to themselves.
Because there is an edit button. That is all :3

Why take up a ton more space when you can just edit?
because people can just keep typing one word on a bunch of posts and become foremen or civil enginers and so on.

Ok, another Question:
Can We double post if we ask permission?
For Example:
Sorry for double post, but ......
And did someone already Quadruple posted?

I'm more interested as to why two mods posted here and didn't bother to move it...
---
I just use three dashes to separate my different topics. People recognize them as a separation. Or I could use the hypothetical dash actually meant to separate topics.
?
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Well, you can't become a mod with a high post count. Otherwise TakoMan02 could swing the banhammer. But yeah, it unnecessarily increases your post count.
TakoMan doesn't have a banhammer in the first place. I stoled it at night when I snuck in disguised as a pickle jar.
wow Ima steel it from you *takes the banhammer* "I'm gonna have fun with this"

Uh,
Aoitenshi gets a warning for spam. Please reconsider what you type next time you post.

agreed
it also depends on the display options: how many posts you want to see in a page, for example: 45 posts per page, so it just takes up 1 of those 45.
No matter how many posts you have per page, a double post still takes up unnecessary space.
I think some people double post because there is no MUTLI-qoute.
But a double post is unnecessarily, edit your last post instead

Off-Topic: I'm sorry, thats my way to show my facepalm and how I don't want to explain whats wrong.
I'm still surprised no one locked this.
EDIT: nvm, Thought it carefully and there's still no clear answer.

I think you should be allowed to double post occasionally if it is a change of conversation. And aslong as it is not spamming.
What about double posts on the Creation forum ?
I wish to inform about the recent developement of a map, but shall only edit the last line ..which no one will read then ?
Something like
~update~
Changed the starting area and added details to art part. No playable to 40% etc.

Hi.

beacause, DPing leads to spamming, spamming leads to reporting,
and reporting leads to being ban for however how long.
so dont doo it.
Okay. Let me show you just how much extra space a double post takes up.
FYI, each line of text (including the space between the line and the line above it) takes up 14px.
This post is 5 lines. It is 518px high. The equation below shows how much extra space is taken up for every post.
518 - (14 · 5) = 448.
If your second post in a row was five lines long, it would add another 518px. That's a total of 1036px. On the other hand, if you edit in the extra five lines...
518 + (14 · 5) = 588
The total is 588px. There is a significant difference in size between double posts and edits. Double posts take almost twice the needed space.
