Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

So imagine you taking a minimap screenshot of your awesome world. But oh no! It got deleted. You try to restore using EEArtist but... the arrows and black bricks (and invisible blocks) and coins have disappeared!
Can there be a way to make a bot to read the minimap screenshot and record where all the arrows, black blocks and coins were located? That would be so amazing
No. You can connect the bot, get a screen shot of the world through the bot, save all the blocks in a text or xml document then reload it through the bot. But if you simply just take a screenshot using print screen button then no. You would be able to get most of the blocks. But once again there would be no way to tell what portal goes where or what coin door opens at what coins. or even what key gate is open or closed.
If you would like me to make a bot for you, go here.

I have a bot that can copy worlds including arrows coins and portals(i think portals actually) it copys the whole world practically and you can reupload it whenever you like however i havent released it yet not sure if i'm planning to

You can use Atilla's bot. I think it's called EEWorldViewer.

The answer to your question, is pretty obvious, though I see you were trying to be "optimistic". As arrows, black bricks, coins dont have colour, eeartist can not read them, so no, it is not possible.
There is really nothing to do, including the bots above, especially as, those wont work as the world was deleted. As with mine, I guess you'll have to restart or move on ):

I might release one(no promises)

I'm trying to revive Classic worlds and need a bot to "detect" any arrows, black bricks, or coins. Do they affect the minimap? I've heard they do, but you can't notice it...

With just a picture it's impossible to recover the actions of a world.
yeah it can detect pretty much every blocks but not portals yet

very nice
It's fully possible to save the world in a single image. You just have to get a dictionary with colorcodes of ALL blocks in ee, including the invisible ones. If some blocks have the same color you will have to come up with an unique color for that block. Then store the foreground and background into a pair of images.
Then merge those two images into one and there you have it.
Kind of pointless though, the only thing that would be good is that you can preview a saved world quickly in a photo viewer.

This is the image I'd like to use. I'd also like to note it's not mine.
um I could do it for you but you should ask for permission if your allowed to

Well I don't think the owner is active anymore.

The owner hasn't been active since early 2012. If I knew Nih's e-mail it could be done.

Just use a world saver and upload it to your own world, you can make one in literately 5 minutes if even that. Message me and i can do it for you

I've actually done something like that in the past for fun.
The way I did it is by setting the block data within the pixel as its colour and layer.
R(red) = multiplier
G(green) = layer
B(blue) = Block ID
So, for each pixel to get the BlockID, you use B*R; the layer is either 0(fg) or 1(bg).
Portals are stored and coindoors as well, to my knowledge. =P
*u stinky*

btw abrar this world was made before worlds had the save feature. I bet the owner WANTS it to be restored.
I don't think there's much you can do with just a picture. Especially a world that mostly has key gates and doors, since gates and doors have the same colour on the map.
thx for sig bobithan
