mp3 to midi is pseudo impossible (I've seen some examples using a FFT, but they were all terrible), but midi to ee could work nicely.

Yeah, that's like trying to paint with a rock.

Atilla has managed to do Midi to EE. All you have to do is change some of the instruments and do some tweaking and it's fine.
