[Question] Can I find out a player's username without joining world?

Enter an email and password, press a button and get their name.

Did you consider connecting to lobby to get playerdata? :O

You used to be able to use the databases but then atilla

I don't see why you need this, "Enter an 'email and password', press a button and get their name."
If you need to enter a password why can't you just login and check??

What if I wanted to verify a user is who they say they are but I don't need that player to join a room.

Well I don't really understand what you mean by that but you could login since you said email and password

Connect the lobby and then send 'getMySimplePlayerObject' and the server will reply with some data including username.

yeah the username is m[0] it's a string
