Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I want to make something similar to this but its hard to think of unique things.

New/Hard.

This is usually what i look for in a minigame but its hard to come up with ideas -.-" I should probably team up with somebody to make everything easier aha :B

Re: What do you like in levels?

I've made a level (Spherical Minigames) and I had this problem too. What I did is more "platform" minigames and not hook jumps, and that frustrating minis. Try looking at other minigames levels but don't put in your level exactly what you saw on the other, try to take some ideas from other levels.

I think i will look at other minigames to get ideas although its hard to find good ones because the majority of them i find boring

Scenic levels with lots of graphical details and good level design that makes me feel like I'm playing a classic 16-bit platforming game.

Yeah I reccomend getting a crew to make that, or at least one (or more) ppl who help you (doesn't need to be a crew). But be careful when giving away code... If you want i can help you. I also reccomend getting a saved level (If you're non beta like me). My level (Spherical Minigames) is a 100x100 saved level. 100x100 is a bit smaller, I think 50 pixels, but at least you can save it. If 100x100 is not enough, you can get a 200x200, but it'll take some time to get the energy (And I don't think you'd want to pay...)

Take a look at one called Rainbow Minigames, it has some good minis with not so much of that hook jumps etc. You can take some ideas from there.

I've got beta so ive already got a few saved levels :3 Yeah i figure you got to be careful with codes, its like giving away your password and what not which is not cool >;[
I'll also be sure to check out rainbow minigames and ill also give your level a go as well if i can find it //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

I think ppl got stuck cuz there were blocks there. I put the blocks there for the sphere didn't look empty in the minimap. Now I put the blocks near the borders. If you want to test it now...

Re: What do you like in levels?

If you want to make a fun level, then do not put anything you usually see in all the levels with the most people on them. Try to make every game original, and that's most of making a fun level.
