Please move this if it is in the wrong section.

Early this morning, I was bored and decided to work on smiley-making. I had an idea before, but I didn't test it then cause I was too busy going to other rooms. Here's an image:

It definitely needs touched up, but it's 3:00 in the morning! Please criticize and suggest.

Should be in Level Creation I think.

Why is it everytime someone new makes their first smiley there is always some inconsiderate person who says something like 'they are made wrong' , 'learn to draw smilies' etc.

It is hardly the way to give that person confidence.

EE King you should really think before you post, seeing as you make smilies yourself you could offer constructive advice rather than insult people work. Your comment is useless to help Shinabi improve.

I used a popular tutorial. The outline is the same. I didn't even finish it! And thank you 35005CP, I mainly work with block art so I am not too good with Smileys.

EDIT: Saw one of those star thingys, and made this!

Know that the other stuff isn't mine. This was someone else's art room.

Yes, this topic should be in the level creation.

The smileys need some improvements (no offence...they are only wrong in my opinon) but those are great smileys for a first try.

Theses smiley     are better then mine! I have been playing EE since the first verison when there was no code or god mode or engery shop etc

EDIT: Ah... I made 2 more smileys. A leprechaun and a love smiley.

Leprecaun is a fail. They dont have green skin.The eyes in the love smiley are off and the mummy would look good if it looked more ee-afied.

the bandages should be above and under the eyes, similar to the ninja smiley but with loose yellow tinted bandages, and red eyes... you deffo need red eyes

do you just draw stuff big, look at the minimap, copy it, edit it smaller, and thats it?

I used Darkday's smiley maker. The smiley is available by donating to the Red Cross for Japan (To help the earthquake). And kirby, you are right, but I had no other ideas. I didn't know how to fix the eyes on the love smiley, and what do you mean by more ee-fied?
