Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

How to give good feedback

i have noticed a lot of people have said "this level sucks" with no suggestions on making it better. this has happened to me multiple times, so i'm posting this guide on how to give constructive criticism.

this from a different site is a good example of constructive criticism.

Your comments on

- Depth none
- Lighting none
- Text is not good
- Render decent placement, but no blending
- Flow none
- Following Rules of Thirds? yes

How to improve your

- Depth well first of all, you have to blend your render into the background. Then sharpen your render and parts of the foreground and blur parts of the background
- Lighting There are various filters in both photoshop and gimp for lighting, and you can use soft brushes
- Text I honestly don't know how to improve your text. It's really beyond repair. I'd remove it
- Render blend it into the background
- Flow don't just spam fractals and wireframes. Place them in a position facing a certain point(s)
- Rules of Thirds You did well on this

Other notes Spamming fractals doesn't make it instantly good. You have to place them correctly

Overall rating:
4/10

that told me it sucked, which i dont mind, i know it did, but it told me how to make it better, and helped me improve. if you just say it sucks, it discourages people, and we have more bad minis in EE

Note: i understand most of you will read this and forget, and it is not much of a guide, but i am sick of people not giving constructive criticism. so next time you post on a level, or any thread, just think, will it help make it better, or just make a person sad and discourage them. sorry if something like this has been posted already, but please tell me nicely.

Whyare there no spaces between the first and second words of your paragraphs/lines sometimes?

Anyway,I think this is a good guide. Ididn't read it, but I think we need something like this.
