Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Under construction, but that shouldn't stop you from giving me all your constructive criticism.
So, what's the first issue that you see when you look at that minimap?
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

The Bridge Rope Thing on the top left of the map needs upgrading. Maybe add red key gates, factory wood and crate blocks and normal brown/light brown bricks to enhance it? Other than that, and the fact it has no houses, people or little areas that you can play in (For instance; an Arena or an Underground Base), it's pretty much perfect.

It's a village, it needs a few houses and mini smileys.
First word I think of is cliché. I've seen the classic orange-brick-ground island a million times. Add something to the art to set this apart from the rest.

Like what, specifically?
The houses and people are definitely different. Expect clouds, and I'm considering erasing the bottom and putting the clouds halfway through so that it looks like they're above the clouds.

You definitely need to shade the ground and give the bridge rails-ones that can be passed through by the pipol, if possible.
I hate tall signatures.

The water near the ground needs some work, imo.
Reminds me on some SNES game, but cannot remember the name. But is is fine, just imagine a possible background and it would be pretty nice already. Not to mention a following finish;)
Hi.

Fantasy Villages shouldn't have the cliche Brown+Green art imo.
