GETTING ON YR WAY TO BE A BETER GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Right so you are on your level and you want to make a wonderful bit of art so you look on google for some pictures (dragon for example) so you find the dragon then try to copy it on everybody edits. But then you find it is too hard..... DONT DELETE IT OR GIVE UP CARRY ON. Here are some tips on how to make some wonderfull graphics/art.

Create the outline.
So you have your dragon on your computer/mac screen ready to copy it to your everybody edits world. Start off with the out line,   it can be in any colour even if it isnt   the colour you want it, you can just change the colour once you have finished. So you have finished the outline and you look at it on mini map and you think wow that is rubbish. Don't rub it out, carry on with it. Nothing ever looks good in 1 colour but once you have added detail it will look better. Trust me.

Adding the graphics.

So you have your out lin
e. now for the graphics. Start off with the lightest colours like a light gray then go darker and darker. So maybe, with the light gray put it round the edges   and do some slight shadows on the picture. Carry on till you think you have completed the picture. Don't forget that the keys and crowns are a big part in art and graphics.

Remember the graphics you have done.

Take a screen shot of your art and keep it somewhere where you can see it and get to easily. Don't clear the world when you are bored of it keep it and get another world with your energy. Thanks for reading.

But...but.. If you copy someone else art/sprite it wont be yours. :O
I also find it kinda stupid that people copy the smileys of everybody edits or anyother sprites(and even use autobuilder programs to make them)
and call it art, even though I dont really mind most of the time, the thing which makes me annoyed is that they dont know(most of them, I am not saying all )why do they even add AA(anti aliasing) near the outline...

This is really my personal opinion so dont take it serious .
