Best Background For Ice Level

I've tried different designs but they don't look good so I hope that you could help.

the icy world has lots of ice staligmites and staligtites [mind spelling]

I'd go with light blue pastel. There are two different shades of it, so it might look cool if you do some dithering effects with the two shades.
