Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I know, so many "Hell" levels! Well, this level isn't entirely about hell, rather the gateway into it.
The model is a picture by European artist Wojciech Voytek Nowakowski, recently passed (Jan. 31st, 2011). I love his work, and wanted to make a memorial to him by recreating one of his pieces, Lord of Hell:
I won't be showing you my progress, because I want the final product to be a surprise. I must say, though, that it's coming along quite nicely. Don't expect it to be out any time soon, I just started and I have school.
Not sure if I want minigames or not. If I do incorporate them, it won't be your typical game. I'm really getting sick of these "trial and error" minigames.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Masternub already made this but never finished it

Will you incorporate backgrounds in this?
Trial and Error Minis?

I wonder how you will input a non-trial and error minigame stage (that is if you will). Are you stating that it won't be possible to fail in this stage, that you win no matter what?
Anyway, good luck. I hope your effort will turn out to be something new.

As in
try
whoops, I failed
try again
whoops, I failed
try again
pass
oh look, another one
try
whoops, I failed
try again
whoops, I failed
Those kinds of mini's.

You mean like a puzzle? or a mini where you go...
oh look a mini
hmm I should take this path
pass
or..
hmm... *thinks*
I figured it out!
pass
Hmm... I guess you could use that big brain of yours and come up with a new concept We would all love that
I'd like to see minis that can be solved with logic. I think this is where EX Crew has an advantage; their challenges can always be figured out with a little brain power. Many minis I see now are random jumbles of arrows that require a lot of guessing and trial-and-error to solve, which, from the sound of things, you're going to try and avoid. Awesome. Go for it.
If you want to make this level exceedingly brutal (and also encourage thought before attempting a challenge), I'd suggest a two-tries-per-challenge coin door system.

Looks cool. Can't wait! 1bigsmile1
Ooh, I'm getting flashbacks of Beastly. The picture was great, the minimap...
I'm looking forward to finally seeing what you keep explaining as minigames that aren't trial and error. As far as I can see, there's no such thing. There's an opportunity to earn a lot of rep from me.

:O *Goes to cry in a corner*
I mean we did the best we could. Obviously the lack of colors and shades made it much harder.
