Hey people since im bored ive done a little tutorial for you guys, now im not ace, but my art is kinda decent.

Not a bad. But what with normal islands? And what's your level name? Your pictures are in bad quality.

pictures are bad quality because im using snippy and im too lazy to download a better program the lvl link will be shown when the level is complete, but if you would like to visit it now its online and called island tutorial, and the "normal islands" are because im in the middle of making that lvl so there is other stuff in it.

The thing is when you make the islands flat,it isn't so good.

Uh, learn to save in PNG, not JPEG.

But other than that, nice tutorial.

The quality is not because you're using snippy, it's because you're saving as JPEGs instead of PNGs.

Very good, I think this will come in handy for a LOT of users (including myself!).
+rep.
I guess the only thing I could say to improve on would be to never make islands (or anything, really) symmetrical.   Symmetry rarely occurs in nature, especially in landforms.

nice tutorial but mostly islands are a bit Bigger and not so high.
And isn't   this topic ment in level creation?
