The Everybody Edits Worm - Sign-Up!

Welcome to this new community project! Let's start by getting a few things cleared up.

What is a worm?

Yes, it is a wriggly creature, but "worm" is also used to describe a collaborative project where something created by one person connects directly to something created by someone else - This is usually done in art or video form. This isn't the best description of it, so I'll demonstrate by showing you the world's longest art worm here:

What is The Everybody Edits Worm?

I have created a world that will be made up of sections created by 30 different users in the community. Every section will be physically connected to every adjacent section.

Which section is mine?

What theme should I follow?

Anything you like within reason. Ideally, I would like this entire world to be one large artistic playable creation rather than 30 individual segments. Naturally, I will give feedback on your submissions as necessary.

Do I have to create my section in your level?

No, you can create your section in any of your own levels and I can transfer it over. Nevertheless, I would recommend waiting until you know what the adjacent sections are before starting on your section. I can give you the code to my level if you wish to work there but obviously I need to be present.

Can I edit my section after submission?

Yes as long as none of the borders connected to other sections are edited.

It's as simple as that. As we don't want to be waiting around, I will only give a maximum of 24 hours for you to reply to a PM if I send one. Of course after the first section, multiple people can work on their sections at the same time.
