How to make a good level.

1. Have a theam on what your level is going to be based on.

2.First draw the out lines of where every thing is going to be.

3.Once you have your level set out, next make the out lines into proper art take into consideration the shading and what it looks like on the mini map.

4.Then when you have the art side of your level done next make some minis. Now the minis are up to you but I think the best way is to make them easy at the start an then make them get harder. (you don't have to do it this way) Don't make them imposible at the end but make them challenging but fun.

5.Try not to place any black blocks, try to make the minis fit around the art. This way the people playing the level will apreciate the art and the minis.

6.Make sure you can't do the minis any other way (also known as exploit)

7. Test the level yourself and make sure you enjoy playing it. Add any other touches that you think it needs. Then . . .

8.Let people PLAY!!!!
Hope this is helped any new comers to the game make nice levels that they will be prowd with and people will enjoy playing.

This topic isn't really needed.

There's not one specific way to make a level, and these 'instructions' most likely won't be used by many people at all.

(I think you just wanted to get your topic stickied, in my opinion...)

2. Make fun and challenging minis.
3. Make a topic in rooms and you are done.

1st. This is kinda like how to make a playable landscape or something (like rava's), but not as detailed.

2nd. A level being good is an opinion.

3rd. Some people don't like art. Some people don't like minis. Again good is an opinion.

4th. This topic is just you saying: "I like these kinds of levels". Not that there is anything wrong with saying that. It's just not much of a tutorial.

5th. This isn't very descriptive, you need to include steps on HOW to make art and HOW to make minis. That way it would be more like a tutorial.

6th. I guess this has some nice, basic (very basic), steps.
