Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I drew a wave so there is something to look at in minimap.
Help from xjeex who made it look better by removing 4 BG blocks.

So the dots near the top still aren't actually symmetrical and you still haven't actually said whether that's intended. I think the ones on the right should be shifted along by a pixel.

Now with added epic face!

I like it a lot except for the fact that the dots top-right are quite annoying to navigate. If you could change that part and leave it as it is, I think it would make a good mini

Thankz, i changed it, its now like a kind of wall-bounce/jump. 1smile1

Looks good. It's not annoying any more but it does seem to be very hard. If you could somehow simplify it (either by moving the right-hand up arrow up one or adding more arrows), it'll be great //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

hey megalamb this is a first one and i think you will want it changed a little since i bended the rulers a tinybit
but what-the-hey
http://everybodyedits.com/games/PWShRibMTea0I
i used art and music, the space is quite smallish and the mini isnt really that hard, so i can change it any time.
P.S. ive moved the coin like a few squares away but its impossible to turn back once the coin is got so its like its at the end.

Absolutely love this - The one downside is that it's only 20 pixels high instead of 21 but that should be easily rectified. If it makes it worse to raise it up by a block, I can live with it as it is //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Sorry, but this is just very common box minis. Nothing particularly fun and mostly annoying. Scrap it and try something else, although feel free to keep the beach theme!

Whilst it looks fantastic and the music might be fun, the mini itself is far too annoying and compact to play. It really needs to be opened up and I really think that unless it were a Mario-themed look, there's no point (in this particular case) for having the Mario Death theme as part of the level. Sorry.

Brilliant and this is a great example to others of something that's fun, innovative, and uses the background nicely //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile - Whilst I loved it though I'm slightly worried that it might be just a tad too hard, but we can work out how to fix that if I take it (which seems fairly likely).

Re: Mystery Project - Minigames Needed!

I felt like i needed a redemption. Sorry about the hook jump rule, but i forgot it. This time, there are NO hook jumps and still challenging, but you need teleporters. I hope you can encorporate it into the project, but even if you can't, i'm still proud to make it.

Believe it or not, this is actually a fairly common minigame. Too repetitive anyway.

coolmanman wrote:

I found this easier that than the "second" one. Far too easy, sorry. Stick with your "first" (that you didn't scrap).

Love it - Far better than the previous attempt //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile - Don't change a thing.

Hmm. A bit too easy. It needs spicing up a bit somehow but it looks cool.

Good except I far preferred having right arrows bottom left than dots. Is it no longer possible with right arrows there?

I replaced them with the dots because it was kinda easy using the arrows as a boost, but I hadn't tried it with 2 arrows there. It works fine with right arrows.(I replaced the dots)

It's still enough of a challenge //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Annoying jump just before the top now. Sorry, but I think it might be worth scrapping the mini and trying something else. I like the background though.

Still far too easy, sorry. Not annoying now though.

I would recommend scrapping it completely. If you're really attached to the art, try to use backgrounds to create it instead to give you far more space. As I said in the first post, there's no reason to use music for this unless it's somehow vital to the mini which is doubtful in such a small space.

Whilst it looks like a decent concept, I still didn't bother playing through it fully because the box at the bottom is supposed to be one pixel taller than it is.
