Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

BASIC and simple 3D objects tutorial

[center]How to make basic 3D objects

I decided to make a tutorial of my own since almost everyone else has.
hope this helps! ^_^

a few examples of 3D objects I made:
1-1.png2-1.png

in this tutorial I will make a simple cone.

make a + to determin how tall and wide the object will be.
3-1.png

now make the border and erase the line also make a line to know how big you want the inner part of the cone to be
4-1.png

make the cercle and then put shading on the top

now put shading in the circle

and then your finnished! here is your object! 8-1.png

I'll be making more tutorials in the future too hope this helped! ^_^

Why didn't you delete the outline at the bottom, it shouldn't be that light, try factory dark grey.

Re: BASIC and simple 3D objects tutorial

ok I might update this tutorial and maybe add in making shadows and better 3D looking...
so did anyone even read the whole thing? or did they just read 5 words and posted that they didn't like it?

Nope, I looked at 6 pictures. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile
Not to advertise, but I made this level with shading in mind, I advise you to study it.

Re: BASIC and simple 3D objects tutorial

You should practice your art. Learn how to shade, and decide where the "light" is coming from so you can shade accordingly.

and dont write lik this cuz it's hard to read in tutorials so try to use grammar okay?

The 'cone' is really home plate with the bottom bent.
