NEJ (Never Ending Journey)

Hi guys! I've decided to start a new series, with a little help from the new World Portals. The main concept behind is to create an adventure where your decisions affect where you go. Eventually, I want this series to become huge and, hopefully, spanning just about every single theme. Eventually, there will be multiple endings, some good (maybe you find treasure), or bad (maybe you die). The goal of this is create a fun adventure, that is fun for just about anybody to play, and for it to last a long time.
The entire adventure begins with one world: NEJ Homeworld.

Everything will eventually branch off from here. We already have a few areas complete, but we need alot more, and alot more worlds to do them in. I am willing to accept help from other members of this forum, but I'm only going to select people that I'm pretty sure that I can trust, to not massively change, or delete, that area. You should also be active enough to be able to link the next area, that comes off of yours, when complete. The worlds that I'm using so far, are smalls, mediums, some larges, and a few longs.

Sure, all the areas that are attached to each other are open, you just have to play off of the Homeworld map.

Ima probably use this post for links and stuff later, once the first post gets too big.

Ok, let me get 0176 to finish the Forest section, and I think I want to redo Cave Section 3 a bit.

Also, for some reason, everytime I enter the portal from The Well to Into The Well, it automatically kicks me, saying I can only be connect to the same room twice. The same thing happens between Forest Entrance, and The Forest. Is this happening for other people as well? I want to find a solution for this.

It happens when the user double-presses space. It would be an easy fix for MrShoe.

Something like that would help alot, but I would want to include things like pictures of each area (incase some one decides to be an idiot and deletes one of their areas), and a way to easily update it. This is helpful right now though, I'll go ahead and add it to the front post and credit you, until it is no longer helpful. Thanks

I'm planning on branching it off alot more... I'm waiting for the area I have to get bigger, and for there to be at least one ending, before I add another world portal in the homeworld.

I found all available endings, after Into The Well you enter Sewer Entrance, The Sewers, and Sewer Drop Zone, which are not shown on the map.

I don't think the homeworld should have more branches, three at most. Possibly into the sky? Yeah, sky would be good.

Sky > Atmosphere > Space > tons of branches all over the place. As an ending, you could have "Sun" as a choice and have it be a death trap. (spawn over spike)

Something like that.

(Alternatively, from Sky you might go into Twilight or something like that.)

actually rocktheworld313: It's going to be on the bed. It will go Homeworld > Homeworld Night (might have some spookier themes playing) > Homeworld Apocalypse (probably have to come up with a new name).
I may decide to do some sky stuff later, but for now, I really want to focus on getting one ending done.

Italics are suggestions, regular print are actual paths. In other words, anything that ends in etc. or an ending is a suggested one, and any ending with ??? are real.

Homeworld > Homeworld Night > Nightmare > Illusion > etc.
