Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

he lowest form of minigame is copied minigames. You find these in 100, 200, # of, minigames type worlds. Quantity over quality. Pretty much anything in Chewy's what not to do thread is this.
Nearly every other minigame is a higher minigame. They are rated in a much different scale, which is a very complicated one. No need to worry about that, none of the minigames in this world fit that description. This is where most-all original content is born. Look at just about any good map. They can be easy (any stagecrew map) or hard (tons of maps, try ex pro).
Those that don't fall into these categories fall into this last one. This is what happens when original content goes bad. This is what happens when a person decides that they have the maturity to become a pro, and they prove themselves by making a pro level. (Fig. 1: Christmas caverns. My first legitimate attempt at a map. Note a higher focus on art [not exclusive to this category], platforming, excessive jumps off walls using < or > arrows, and forced minigames [A "forced minigame is a minigame or challenge that is confined to a place where it does not fit in with the level, usually caused by a conflict with the level's art]. Additionally, these maps tend to have poor planning gone into them, not a problem Christmas Caverns suffers, but one that this map almost undeniably suffers. The lack of planning leads to the last part of the level being made up of boring vertical walls, secret blocks, and minigames that fall into this category. Lastly, there is a misconception that hard minigames are better than easy ones (stagecrew proves you wrong). A simple way that these minigames are made is using a technique where an easy minigame is created, then the arrows and blocks are stripped to a bare minimum of what makes it possible. This is very evident throughout this level.
^ @last category: not all of these factors need to be met in order for the level to qualify. A respected community member can easily make one of these just as a little kid.

it's not so much about agreeing with stuff as it is me trying to define good and bad minigames.
That was probably the best thing you ever posted on this forum. You actually used good grammar!
