Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Looks better, just do a little bit more shading on the bottom of the temple.
Hm, each pillar needs to have its own shading as well. The pillars are round, so each one would be darker on one side.
As for being plain, is there enough room for more designs? Typically temples are more gaudy than plain. Also, a lip at the top, like a roof overhanging, would be good if you can do it.

I'll do the shading in the pillars. I haven't got an idea of what you're talking about with the lip at the top or the roof overhanging.
[edit]Nice, I did the pillar shading and it looks much better now. Still don't understand the lip at the top or the roof overhanging thing...[/edit]
[edit=2]Oh, understood the roof overhanging thing. Gonna do it now.[/edit]

I don't think it really looks good, but, what do you think?
[edit=4]Sorry for wrong image... Changed it.[/edit][/edit]

You did the shading for the pillars from a center-light source again, lol.
I'm tempted to just tell you to use the center light source as you are clearly most comfortable with it.

Smilies are a non-consistent coloring.
While I have used them for art before, they are not reliable enough to be used for art.

BEE, can I pm you some additions of changes for your palettes I made? I'm still making it, but you could use them.
Of course! Palettes will of course vary depending on what color you are coming from or moving toward. I will not be offended. You can post them here or make your own thread that I will link to in my thread.

Oke, I'll make a thread, i think :3
BEE, I'm doing a classic sunset scene.
What color would you recommend for the water? I'm using the tan brick, but it's starting to look like mud instead of water.
I'm scared to use crowns or keys because they're too hard to blend with bright colors (sun's reflection).
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.
