Easter Palace

So we finally got our Easter level done, and entered in the contest, and so far I havnt heard very negative feedback about it!

AWESOMEST.ART.EVER! But i have to use WASD (my right arrow key is broken) so i can't even get past the first part

I think it's kinda weird how there are eggs in the clouds, but I can't really talk because in my level it's raining eggs

Its kind of a pity that it moves towards more of a black block mini format.   They're very nice minis, from what I played, but I thought the intro part was just spectacular.

Agreed, I had in mind was making like rooms and stuff of the castle and play in there with out putting minis in there too, but Drock said that he didn't want to change it D:

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

@Mihb: Yes I did notice that it was   starting to happen but Im sure in 90% of the minigames there was a natural border from the level.
I really didn't want to make super long minigames without checkpoints, if you know what I'm getting at.

Meh. The art is alright, but I don't think it's shaded that well, so it looks extremely 2D (yes, I realize that the game is 2D)

Otherwise, the art is great! Good work!

The castle is pretty bland, and I haven't played it, since I cant get to a computer with flash ATM. I love the ground covered with big eggs, but again, that just makes the castle all the more bland.

It is hard to shade with the grays we have though.
I do know we could've added banners/ect, but where would the minigames have gone?

Minis were good but after awhile they started to lose their appeal, likely because the majority of them were in somewhat tight and confined spaces, meaning there were no grand concepts. I also disliked all the use of black blocks, it made the minis completely disconnected from the art and I would never have guessed I was in an Easter map based solely on the black block minis.

I suggest trying to integrate the minis and art next time, and also experimenting with larger spaces so you can come up with grander concepts for your minis.
