Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

From Blueprint to Reality
You play as a young bunny leaving its hole for the first time where you will discover the joys of Easter with your fellow animals. Enjoy!
Technical Notes:
This is not an easy level!
All of the challenges are meant to be original. The level contains a variety of illusions, multiple ways to win, and normal macrogames. Some of the macrogames simulate actions such as climbing a tree, skipping across clouds, or clinging on to a giant seed puff.
To help with my learning process feel free to post Feedback! Feedback! Feedback!
I constructed a playlist of songs that i deem suitable for the level's theme. It is suggested to play the level while listening to the playlist if you are on a fast computer. If not then the music may cause lagg when switching between tracks.:

Also if you have a track that you think would fit. Post it here!

P.S. If you stand to the left of the red bird's head (cardinal's head) then you will see the rainbow effect on the minimap.
EDIT: Someone plz post some nice feedback. With only 132 views and no specific reviews on the art and minis (Robotmega doesn't count) I would appreciate it if some of you play the level and give feedback. BTW i'm offering +rep for nice reviews. Constructive criticism preferred.
EDIT 2: Congratulations to _CANARDWC_ for being the first person I saw fully beat the level. Here is your prize: http://img862.imageshack.us/i/seaster.png/

Nice job with art!
Minis are 100% originals and funny.
I liked the tree macrogame, it has a special bunny effect.
I give you a 10/10

Why not just do 7/10...?
Pike270 wrote:B.U.M.P. Why? Because you can now actually grade the level based on both challeenges and art instead of just art. As I said before: Feedback! Feedback! Feedback!
Also I'd like feedback on the music selectio. If it a good idea? or a lagg incducing annoyance?
>_< 2nd B.U.M.P. Why? Because the one above was a fail.

Personally, I don't agree with all of the judgments. For example: this should of been AT LEAST in 2nd place
aka towwl
Offline
Thanks Bobithan. I'm wondering whether the judges looked at all the levels or just a sample from the forums. If so, then this thread's lack of attention explains why this wasn't picked.
Also is difficulty bad? Most of the great levels with difficult minis came in second. I don't know why. I'm guessing that I am biased though. The main reason i made it difficult was because "The Clock Strikes Twelve" was difficult and that I though the judges would be able to breeze through my challenges.
My suggestion? On the next contest there should be an "easy" bracket and a "difficult" bracket. That way difficult yet original levels won't be put down. According to Robotmega, Ravatroll and EDJ didn't even finish the "easy" part of my level and instead, they ragequited.

Look Pike the judges aren't biased. The levels that were picked to win deserved to win, whether it be for art or minis, Your level is good, but not the best.
First off alot of anatomy is off on the animals. The deer is long super long, and the bunny coming out of the hole doesn't look right, I think the head is should look attached, nto separated.. Also i don't like all the little dots in the background. They distract the user from what's really important, and that is the animals.
I thought the trees should nave been more a maze than just gravity arrows. All the black spots make it look like it has holes in it.
Also I didn't like your shading techniques. Everything was dotted different colors. It's okay to use solid colors, when shading. I thought your level was decent but not the best.
Lol i didn't say the judges were biased. I said I was biased. Also mazed wouldn't fit withhthe level mood much. Also colored gravity would be nice, I know the holes look a bit awkward. Also some people consider mazes "unorigninal" or even "boring". I believe it was the difficulty of my level that "wiped me off the table" since i have reports that the judges ragequitted while not even a quarter done.

That is completely unfair!
It's not unfair. At least 1 of the judges had in game mod (rpgmaster2000) and so he could have easily floated around and looked at everything. It was not the judges fault 1smile1
Also mazes can be epic if you do them right.

All I'm saying is that there should be an "easy" division and a "difficult" devision with separate judges for each. Or AT LEAST a disclaimer saying something like: "It is advised that you make you contest levels easy so that we can judge accurately"
Anyways, thanks to Robotmega I got lots of feedback and met some really great people who appreciate the challenges I made. Not only that I even made it on Bee "competition" art section. For what it's worth, I'm actually glad that I lost.
@Failgirl101: mind telling me the secret to making an epic maze?
EDIT: What I just posted probably sounds really selfish to my team members. Sorry.
What do you guys think about the music? Is it a good idea?
