Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

go try out HQ crew purplethunder
very hard mini games and cool art

bye
It still leads to the same thing... HQ Crew Icy coins.
4/10, first coin door minigames were not nessecary.
Did you even test the minis?
And improve on the art.
Quite boring, just looking for the right door to pass through
I quit at the first thing. It's a way too precise jump with random arrows everywhere. After failing a 100 times I thought it was enough and didn't give a good outlook for the rest of the level.

Then how about test your minis? They suck. And don't -rep me, you should change the minis also. Follow the advice that NOU said above and don't say that I suck. -_-

Yeah about testing our minis.... WE ALL DID. Even I, (a player that SUCKS at minis) PASSED ALL OF THEM! so yes, yes you do suck at minis.... (ok well it could be you just don't have the patience and perseverance, or you just suck at "hard" minis) and don't give me a -rep for standing up to my fellow crew mates.
-oh and why don't you try them again? show us that our minis are impossible.
our minigames are easy if you have expiernce with minigames.
@nou i know they are hard at first few but you can beat them if you take the time for it
btw i dont know who posted this but this is not our purple thunder lvl but the icy coin lvl -.-
look i made some of the minis
and i thought that some of you wud complain because they where to easy!
so stop complaining and just play on!

The Purple Thunder map is really just generic minis created in black blocks so they have no connection to the art whatsoever. There's nothing special about them, I found the minis easy and dull for the most part and far too confined.
It needs a connection between the art and minis, and the minis need to be much more fun and less cramped.

Let me get this straight... our minis need to be hard to be fun, but not too hard to make people ragequit, but not too easy for it to be dull, AND they have to tie in with the art BUT they have to be visible and not destroy the visual art? What?!? YOU Mustang, have to come up with ONE set of "Minigame Design Rules" and make sure they are UNDERSTANDABLE. or else your posts=SPAM.

I sense a lot of rage from you, and I have no idea why. I gave you clear criticism, and if that offends you then I suggest you don't make forum threads about your maps. I also suggest you stop making minis, for without being able to take criticism and learn from it, you will not be able to improve your map making skills.
Just to clarify, I never said your minis had to be hard to be fun, those are two separate qualities. I did say I found them to be generic and cramped, which is why they were both easy and dull since they are seen in far too many maps. IMO, focus on making then fun and don't worry about the difficulty, since it's not easy to make truly creative and fun hard minis. Also focus more on grand concepts and try to stay away from cramped little rooms.
As for the art, I'm sorry to say but the best maps always tie in the art to the minis. You may find that to be a troublesome quality you'd rather ignore since it's easier to make black minis, but if you ever want to truly elevate your maps you NEED to integrate the art and minis.
As for the design rules, refer to the links Nou provided. No one said making a high quality map is easy, and that fact seems to anger you. My advice is to calm down, realize the criticisms you are facing are valuable learning experiences, and try to come back stronger for your next map.
If you'd rather ignore everything everyone tells you and stubbornly cling to the belief you are right and the rest of the world is wrong, then by all means go ahead but do not be surprised when few people play your maps and even fewer beat them.

Well, he could of posted those links for us to read, instead of posting what he did for both the Purple Thunder and Icy Coin topics... I mean, it's just common sense, isn't it?

I'd call custom feedback for your specific map more useful than general advice.

I know I posted this somewhere, but if you must know, I DO NOT MAKE MINIS the reason is, well, I suck at making them... and no one has ever taught me how to make "proper" minis and I don't think any one ever will... :/ plus, I didn't make this map... ok well, some parts... but not a lot. no minis what so ever.
Even check my profile:
http://everybodyedits.com/profiles/?/kuech
I made those maps by myself, (except for HQ Crew Canada Day.. that was a crew effort) <- but I did the start of the flag, the main outline, not the colour design.
EDIT: (Off-Topic) 10000th Post on this forum section (rooms)

^ Well an artist is very important to a crew effort, and if you can find clever ways to integrate your art and minis of your other crew members you will be very happy with the results. Ravatroll is a master at this, and if you read his thread on making playable landscapes HERE, you will be on your way to taking your maps to the next level.
Good luck, and let your crew know that nothing was meant personally.
^I'm actually not an artist either :L I'm just the guy who just helps out with anything that needs to be helped out with
But, I will read the thread for future reference
and I will tell the crew that nothing was meant personally.
btw, Please do not post links here, if the levels are unfinished... Unfinished ones go to the sub-category, Level Creation.
This was a better map than your ice coin map.
overall rating 5/10

I'll remember to tell him.
Nou is probably a better player than I am and I finished this room in no time (win pics).
So, other than these slow coin boxes, I'm not sure why this room is considered to be problematic.
Maybe the level has been changed? :/
I have permanently left the game and forum.
EE is an entertaining game and I enjoyed playing it...

I played the Ice Coin lvl thing, the link was wrong before. I finished the purplethunder in no time as well.

What I wrote was about the Icy Coin level (see the win pics in my previous post).
I just 'finished' the other level as well (win pics), also easy. Actually, that one doesn't seem to be finishable, because I got all coins and I can't go any further. (The folks who created the level - who were present, see the pictures - either didn't understand I couldn't go anywhere or they did and it's really the end of the room...)
