Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Hey everyone. I am fully aware of the huge negative backlash that the physics update received, and despite that Chris had fairly good reasons to update them (laying the foundation for physics bricks, improving speed, etc), it managed to cripple a huge number of levels out there once again angering the core fanbase.
Just gonna throw it out there: I do not support having the physics change to this degree, I do wish that he could at least have the new engine mimic the old one as much as possible, but that's difficult since he pretty much rewrote the physics engine from scratch to accommodate the future updates.
With that said, most of you need to take a chill pill and wind down a little. Yes, previous levels are crippled, both gameplay-wise and art-wise. Has this happened before? Of course it has. Did EE survive? Yes, it did. Did Chris make sure to fix all the new bugs that inevitably showed up days after release? Yes, every single time. All I am asking you is to give this some more time to let him make things at least a little bit more right until you judge him or the update.
Anyway, better get to my point before I forget why I posted this in the Rooms section. The point of this topic is to showcase some of the early works of levels fully utilizing the new background layer to make the level looks a pretty to play as possible. You are all free to add your own levels to the mix, just make sure that they are awesome.
1. SquadFS Holy Grail

2. Super Mario Galaxy 2

Feel free to add your own levels!
I think the update is really good but i really wanted some new smiley's!

^We've had enough smiley updates.
Thanks for this RPGMaster, everybody does need to take a chill pill. Ask Chris is he can fix the physics so everyone can stop whining.
No we only got 34 smiley's all together and like a million bricks!

Well, that might have been an exaggeration on my part, but he did make sure to correct most bugs after release. I'll make sure that this happens this time as well.
You screwed up with the links... theyre all beta

It's only a small but I think it helps display the up-side of BG layers.

I like the new physics, but the only thing im sad about is the keys and crowns, since that pretty much ruined my and Pyros collab map, hope He will bring it back, or find a replacement for them

The physics ruined many of the minis, and people have to retest their levels now.

The bright side is that the game looks a lot better the bad side is *people are quitting EE it's just too much in the bad side*. I'll stick with playing the game and see if things get any better. Who knows with the new physics could come a new type of mini game to replace the broken ones.
I'm in love with a dragon <3

See thats the thing.. ALL of the minis are broken almost.
And 32orton: Its not the same.. In our levels, we had an idea set in mind that could be filled by the shades the keys provided. THe decorations aren't the same.

yes there may be bugs and errors but inside EE is Epic!
I was playing on my holy grail world and another one with no background, and they are both set in the daytime but after playing both the one with no background looked like nighttime.and some colours hurt the eyes when you start but it does make EE more enjoyable! with extra colours. Tip: when buying backgrounds I'ld go for Pastel Pack

Who is still left in the first generation? I was in the second when beta user names and chat started! There was a few days where everyone could see what people were saying.
Who is still left in the first generation?
I'm from the first generation of EE that's how long I've been playing this is by far the worst I've seen.
FIX PLEASE THX
I have to say the bg looks very nice.
But:

yes it did survive, but I feel like Chris can be a little more open about those drastic physics change. He might not notice it but EE is 100% dependant on the userbase. People don't like to change their worlds again after the many efforts they made to finish their map. On the other hand these physics make ice blockd possible.
