The Everybody Edits Worm! - Community Creation

Welcome to the thread for the ultimate community level! For the last 4 weeks, 35 people have committed their time to creating this incredible Everybody Edits level!

For those that don't know what an "artistic worm" is, the word "worm" can be used to describe a collaborative project where something created by one person connects directly to something created by someone else - This is usually done in art or video form. This isn't the best description of it, so I'll demonstrate by showing you the world's longest art worm here:

The culmination of the effort everyone involved has put in has resulted in a fun and innovative level that provides a linear adventure but includes a few coin hunts along the way:

Enjoy playing by clicking one of the images! The top image links to Non-Beta whilst the bottom image links to Beta. If you'd like to look around the level, please feel free to go into the Portal near the start to get to the "Viewer" which links to 32 different areas in the map so that you can look at the art or watch other people playing through the level.

Thanks to everyone involved and I will be creating an Everybody Edits Worm 2 considering how brilliantly this one came out! I've learnt a lot from creating this one and will be making a few changes. Any backups for this Everybody Edits Worm will be contacted initially before I post a sign-up sheet.

I hope you enjoy playing! If you post a screenshot having gotten the crown in the level (obviously without the code), I may give you some rep on the forums

Sorry, but anyone with a section in this worm is unlikely to be able to secure a spot in EE Worm 2. I have so many backups from the first one to contact that it looks almost unlikely that I'll even have a sign-up thread. It's only fair on the rest of the community for other people to get a chance, but if I end up doing an EE Worm 3, you can probably be part of that

Can't wait for EE Worm 2. I'm pretty sure I signed up for as a backup of the first, but I can't remember. Can't play this one now, but you already know about why. I did get to see the level towards the end of it being made and I would like to say that the final product looks amazing. Congrats to all the players who helped in its creation.

The art is great, the minis are addicting, and they were integrated amazingly. The only real problem is that, because of the numerous creators, the difficulty level varies at every turn.

I'm sorry I didn't sign up before, but it looked like it was going to fail epically. So you exceeded expectations! 1bigsmile1

Breakdown:
Art- 16/20 (some areas... not so good)
Minis- 17/20 (some were a bit tedious)
Integration- 18/20
Difficulty Curve- 14/20 (varies)
Enjoyment- 19/20
Overall: 8.4/10

I really enjoyed playing the level, and I felt very accomplished at the end. You guys did a great job!

I appreciate the feedback Shift - It's understandable that the difficulty varies so much because, most of the time, the people who drew their sections also included their minigames. It was tough to make it progressive but I'm glad you enjoyed it! Congrats on getting the crown

I may generally tweak the minis over time to make some easier and some harder.

As you didn't have your own section, you could be in the second Worm, but I'm not sure whether I'll be able to fit you in. We'll see later this week.

EE Worm 2 will be a slightly different format so that it'll be different in style to the first.

Congratulations to both Shift and Nothingishere2 for being the 3rd and 4th people respectively to get all 140 coins! There have now been around 20 people to have achieved crowndom today as well

EE_Beast finished your part by connecting his to yours. I added the minigames.

I will join worm2 as a tester I would like to test for ya.

When it's ready, I just sorta say "Anyone want to test it out?". I only give credit to the testers that made a major difference/completed the level. To be honest, I would still like feedback on this one, so feel free to test it as it is and PM me feedback

Megalamb: Can someone who is signing up for a section also be a tester in the end? I would love to be one (mostly because I want to go coin hunting again )
