Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Sequence Remembrance

A new concept for a playable level using music:

http://everybodyedits.com/games/PWR5xpsrslbEI
http://beta.everybodyedits.com/games/PWR5xpsrslbEI

Every time the level is reloaded, a new sequence is formed. The level's fully playable, but to make it work fully functionally, it needs a total of 267 portals when I only currently have 153. I'll keep updating it over time.

See if you can complete it with 0 Blue Coins at the end!

Re: Sequence Remembrance

Do you have a bot to making that it changes a new sequence?

I´d like this verry much (like your other levels too //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue )

I don't have a bot, but the portals are done in such a way that every time the level is reloaded (by me or if it dies), it takes you to different notes through different portals.

Woo, remembering the last note only FTW!

It's really fun, and a great concept. I can't wait until it's fully completed!

Re: Sequence Remembrance

Yay you made it (:

Nice level. A lot better than I would've done with it.

Very nice and I like how it's even aestheticly pleasing on the minimap (:

I finished first try with 0 blue coins //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Although I was born with something called absolute pitch. I remember recreating songs like smoke on the water on the keyboard at 3 years old from memory.

Re: Sequence Remembrance

I won first try with zero blue coins; it was pretty easy, but I might have what Greenzoid was talking about above.

For a long time in my life I thought I had Perfect Pitch (or Absolute Pitch as it's less commonly referred), but about 3 years ago I found that I have Relative Pitch. I can know any other note instantly if I know what one particular note is. As I know the lowest note I can sing, I can always reference that and get the notes right.

Very cleverly done, hope you get more portals soon, it'll be interesting to see how much more difficult it gets.

TBH - I snagged a blue on my first go - but because you reset the level half way through, that doesn't count, right //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

Exactly what I was going to say. As I remember playing songs from hearing (succeeding a complete song w/o chords in 1-3 tries depends) when I was 7 y/o, I thought I had an absolute pitch. But when I realized a few weeks ago I 'only' have a relative pitch I was like "No way man..." and I was trying to convince myself I do have it XD. However I still think it's as useful as a perfect pitch is (well maybe not AS useful but kinda) as you can play song by hearing, too. It's fun to show it to my friends because they play me a song for the first time and I play it (without chords I don't learn piano) for the first or the second time on my piano and they're like "WTF". Also it's useful to learn how to play songs by video tutorials in a day. I learnt Hey There Delilah in 2 or 3 hours with singing and chords.

tl;dr: I play piano with a relative pitch and not absolute pitch as I thought I have and it's still fun to have it.

As for the level; It's awesome I already said it in our little conversation. Nice concept I got 1 blue coin due to a little confusion but it was so fun. Great job MegaLamb

Ok, I understand.

Btw, I always got zero or 1 blue coin. Never 3, 4...

You know, I might have relative pitch. I don't know exactly what I can do, all I know is that I can hear a song and then be able to repeat it in the same key.

Another little thing, I have guitar class this semester, and at the beginning we were supposed to learn how to read music but I never bothered, I just learned everything by ear lmao. Now I'm regretting it.

Re: Sequence Remembrance

Won perfectly first try, but I'm not sure how. I play piano, however I suck at things like ear tests. But I have a pretty good memory.
Amazing idea, anyhow.

Re: Sequence Remembrance

Very nice idea; kinda reminds me of Simon except with sound instead of colors.

That's not a half-bad idea for a level... Simon...

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.
