EX Crew Shift ON/OFF

We have decided to embark on something completely new to us: tool assisted levels! Shift combines racing and platforming in a competitive atmosphere: grab all coins and head for the exit before your opponents do and eliminate them. It is based in a 25x30 arena which changes each round with levels ranging from easy to expert difficulty.

Note: If a round is currently going on, stand by until there is a winner and join in the next round.

*NEW*: Mirror mode. In mirror mode, all levels have been mirrored.
*NEW*: Shift Practice has been updated: all new hard levels and the levels themselves have been updated for the physics.

Because some of the later rooms are very difficult and it's hard to get a chance to practise them, I've made (currently) all difficulty 5, 6 and 7 levels available to practise:

Keep in mind there might be some minor differences. I've replaced the exits and entrances with keys (green=entrance red=exit) so you don't get the arrow boost you would normally get on entry.

Currently there are 75 levels, more will come! We have a great sized level with a 7x12 grid of levels, with a few not filled. The higher the first number the harder, we choose it to be harder each round

Anyway You shouldn't get mad just because Ex Crew is a noob magnet along with getting pros.

What are you talking about, Tako? EX makes the best levels. They deserve the attention. They're not monopolizing. They don't spam their level link, they don't say, "EVERYONE GO PLAY THIS!!1", and they aren't aggressive about getting plays, whereas Wal-Mart intentionally undercuts their competitors and markets aggressively. EX does the same thing every other crew here does: post their level link in the Rooms section, wait, get plays. Because they're popular, they happen to get lots of plays. But we're all on an equal playing field. They just happen to be the better athlete. But with practice and dedication, any crew could become as good as EX.

And, besides, it's a game. This should all be taken in stride.

Haha, nice analogy, but I think you're looking at it the wrong way. This isn't a competition, we're building stuff because we like to build and we like to create levels for others to enjoy. We don't do it for fame or respect, those are just perks or rewards for doing a good job. We have just made a comeback after a long period of inactivity so there is just much awesomeness at the same time now rather than spread out. Glad to you know like our stuff

They can't intentionally be the best because they're having fun and enjoying what they do? Do you want Ex to make crappy maps and just see minigames in the lobby all the time? Even stepping down a bit would be stupid, they have fun by creating, we have fun by playing.
The MG Crew maps hardly get over 500 plays nowadays.... I'm not complaining. I just create because it's fun, not a competition.

No, you're right that popularity gives EX an advantage that other players don't have. But what can we or they do about that? Nothing really. Even celebrities that no longer do anything are still celebrated for some reason. What's you become famous, you can't really become un-famous. And why should they want to?

Sorry if this sounds like I'm declaring WWIII. I don't know how to sound calm about things online, everything sounds monotone.

Here's the thing Takoman02: we didn't release a map for 3 months prior to lightspeed.   Think about that.   At some point, you can't blame us for being good at what we do, if you have months in which to build your own stuff without competition.
