...I've actually been a supporter of public chat for years, and think that making chat public was a good idea. To see it implemented is a good sign in my opinion.
Still think Builders shouldn't be the only ones allowed to have signs. Now that chat is public, you don't even have the "think of the children" excuse that people gave me for making signs Builders-only.
Seriously, it's unfair and entitles others. After this act of restoring equality, I think this step needs to be made as well, announcing that signs will become public. The claims that Builders' Club is going to carry the functions of Beta Club implies that they would become public, but I still haven't seen anything on the issue.

Maybe eventually everyone can get signs.

I'd be fine if they were available for 5,000 energy even.   Though would probably be less.   I just want signs so I can tell stories through levels I wanna make.

Actually I changed my mind, I might participate in the contest but I won't use crazy programs such as photoshop. I already have the fanboy smiley, why not let others try to get it.

Didn't there used to be a site thing where you could draw a smiley? It was MUCH more efficient than colouring a 16x16 box one pixel at a time.

You have two choices:

Download an image editing program, like Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.net or others.
OR

Mine will be Class 1, mostly because I want to protest against the smiley magic classes, but also because it'll be a "majestically special" smiley.

I don't like the smiley magic lock thing, which makes me want to set a low magic level, however, I'm not sure if I want less people to use my smiley or not.

Also the blog says must be lower than class 10, so you can't make it class 12.

Regarding the chat-for-everyone update, this should allow more people to spot trolls and ask the world owner to kick him/her.

I wonder if they'll start having monthly updates with lots of content. Even if quality is over quantity, I shouldn't be getting my hopes up: They've had a few delayed updates before and go right back to the schedule again.

I hope this isn't considered a gravedig, but since this is relevant and not really bumping, (because of this being a sticky topic) it probably won't.

I was drifting away from EE for a while there, although the new magic smile was pretty great. Then I saw that there's no more magic decay, even outside of BC. EE, I love you again.

I think it would have made more sense to release a level 12 smiley, with the no decay aspect of this update.   Whatever, though, EE needed another female smiley.
